Ceramic Processing Engineer

Opening for a hands-on Ceramic Processing Engineer. BS in Engineering and/or 5 years technical experience in the investment casting industry required.Candidate must have knowledge of processing equipment and materials used in shell making and/or core manufacturing. Fundamental understanding of physics and chemistry of ceramic materials and clearly effective communication skills are a must.

Duties include assisting in the development and monitoring of the alumina and mullite shell systems, maintaining and improving the ceramic core manufacturing process, documenting procedures and processes, improving production techniques and developing test procedures.

LEAN MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Position will support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen events in a production environment.

Successful candidate will have expertise in value stream mapping, creating lean production flow work cells, six sigma initiatives, and have the ability to organize and instruct all levels within the organization. Individual must be detail oriented, able to solve problems and possess excellent people skills.

Bachelors degree and/or 5 years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is required.
